My main focus with this project has been to get aligned with money.  Where I am getting aligned with NOT taking action (or only taking action when it feels good or is inspired) is in regards to my own business.

But I still have been taking action (even if it isn't my first choice) by going to work if I am scheduled.  I haven't taken it so far as to not show up to work.

Still even with not working on my business stuff since the 5th of this month (10 days) I have seen a really big increase in money coming in.

My previous story was that I wasn't making enough money to cover all my expenses.  Right now I have more than enough to cover my bills for February - but for March too - and that's BEFORE making any money in March.  So if I weren't to do anymore work from now until the end of March - I'd still have enough to cover all my bills (and then some).  Now that is a HUGE shift.

Some things that have changed/shifted/helped - my gas/heat bill being a good bit lower than expected, doing a focus group today, getting WAY more in cash tips than expected for a concert I bartended, doing several editing jobs.

As far as getting aligned with my business - I've got a coaching session next week to deal with specifically getting aligned with attracting clients.

So even though I have been careful to not look around and take score with this project - I have been having great results.  Also I notice that it is easy to slip and not pay attention and get out of the habit of being focussed on what feels good.  So even with the good results, I still have to continue to be aware of how I'm feeling and not going into autopilot mode.

It's just really nice to feel like I'm finally seeing the shifts and results that have felt elusive for so long!  And I know that by having these shifts and feeling good from what I'm manifesting is going to bring about MORE of what I want.  Such as start getting clients and having my business become financially supportive.

My friend, Ande, made a good point about originally calling this an experiment vs a project.  Using the word experiment implied not truly believing and the potential for checking in constantly and looking to take score and be really caught up in the current "what is"-ness of my reality.

So I took that to heart and changed it from an experiment to project.  And I went in with the awareness that it is very easy to want to look for results and take score.

Thus I am working to be conscious of NOT being too caught up in "reality" and what is but to appreciate when good stuff does come up and I notice it naturally.

I've done lists of all the things I'm milking (an Abraham thing - milk and really relish the good stuff - no matter how small) and so I want to continue that with this project.

I've been focusing on what feels good and working on being aware if I'm in negative thinking and gently shifting away from that.  I've played with finding a better thought vs just distracting myself and stopping thinking about that topic completely.  Usually distracting wins!  lol

I am thrilled to report that I have noticed a lot of good stuff coming up - though I wasn't LOOKING to find physical results.

Here's some of what I have to milk and what I've noticed just since starting:

* Well, just noticing that I'm noticing my thoughts better.  Awareness is really key and I'm grateful that I'm becoming more aware.

* Easily getting paid for finishing up a website for someone.

* Ending up making a bit more because of a problem that came up that I fixed.

* Getting a totally unexpected check from...of all places...my mortgage company!  I've NEVER gotten money back from them.  But I got a check for a nice chunk of change for calculated OVERAGE on my escrow account.

*  The mortgage thing gets better - in addition to the check I got back from the escrow account overage my payments are going to be LOWER.  They'd already gone down starting January, now in March they're going down a bit more.  Nearly $20 less per month.  (Which now means my payments are OVER $100 less than what they were last year.)

* The guy I do part time editing work for referred me to a friend of his and that guy called yesterday and things are going to be a go there.  Seems like it will be a fun and easy part time/work from home thing.  And it starts in a few weeks.

* I got a knock on my door today from someone offering me a better deal on my trash pick up.  I'd actually been thinking about switching and even had seen this particular company's info somewhere (can't remember where) and then they show up at my door.  How easy is that?  This new company will save me about $70 a year on trash pick up.  It's not a ton - but hey, $70 is $70.

* Right after starting the project, I went to work and ended up making more in tips than I'd anticipated.

* Yesterday did an editing job for the guy mentioned above - so more $$ there.

So focusing on feeling good and getting into alignment is already having nice results.

Many people focus upon unwanted things, with no deliberate attention to the emotional Guidance within them, and then they try to compensate for their lackful thinking with physical action. And because of the misalignment of Energy, they do not get results from their action, so then they try harder by offering more action, but still things do not improve.

Like the air you breathe, abundance in all things is available to you. Your life will simply be as good as you allow it to be.

I just read a blog post about how action isn't really necessary for getting what you want - ALIGNMENT is the key.

And it got me thinking - I have tried it both ways:  not worrying about action and going the action route.  But I also realized that the reason neither way really worked was because I wasn't aligned for either.

When I didn't take action I wanted to believe that no action was necessary - but I wasn't really truly aligned with that.  So I felt guilty/wrong for not taking action.  But I wasn't aligned with taking action either.

Now that I'm in more of an action mode I think my problem has been that it's action taken that is not inspired or aligned.

So now I want to take the actions of alignment.  The biggest focus will be on getting into the Vortex and being aligned.

I picked 30 days because I can get the ego and gremlins on board.  If I take almost no action towards my business/making money I'm still ok for 30 days (I'll still be going to my part time job and doing my side editing work).

As my friend, Ande, pointed out though is I should take care to not be looking around for results and taking score and getting caught up in the "what is" and "reality".

To sum up the next 30 days are a project where I let myself off the hook of "traditional" action and doing and instead to focus on doing what I can to get into alignment and get into the Vortex.  Of course, if I feel inspired to take action I can and will, but it's about feeling good first, and then doing stuff second - or not at all.

It's time to get into the habit of alignment and feeling good - or at least making that my priority.  I have a feeling action will actually be easier from that place.  And when I don't feel like taking action - I will feel good and be ok with that - no guilt.
